Yes, that would be fun!
No, that wouldn't be necessary...

The stealth chopper was introduced in the first season of the game, its remarkable feature is to be able to switch between two configurations, attack and stealth. On paper it seems mediocre, good at best, oh but you have no idea how deadly this bird is. It's a jack of all trades of death, capable of destroying every class whether it's infantry, tanks or planes. Its bombs and their deadly whistle, the 12.7mm rapid fire gun pods, precise and deadly, and its TOW and ATGM missiles, death from above.
Is it hard to master? maybe, you might not enjoy it because of the fact you have no flares until you unlock them, but after a while, it becomes every heli pilot's favourite helicopter specialized for any situation.
The new season brought a change to the hacking and EMP mechanic, now, instead of deactivating countermeasures and weapons systems, the Hack and EMP deal 5-10 damage (I think) to the vehicle and all of it's components are in a critical state. While the weapons aren't deactivated, the mobility of the vehicle becomes compromised. And I think this is great, this brings a balance to the vehicles of BF2042. When tanks used to rule the battlefield, now the infantry can become an equal to the vehicle by completely crippling the vehicle of its mobility and/or its turret rotation speed allowing the infantry to get close. Also, the fact that the vehicle is almost unable to move fast and properly, fixes the annoyance when a driver ran away after being hacked because he couldn't use his guns meant that the infantry couldn't do much but watch the tank go behind a hill only to come back angrier than ever. The fact that now weapons are still actives means the infantry can now attack with of course a risk of death from the driver and gunners' weapons but all the while the tank is also unable to move efficiently to run away. All this reminds me BF1 where in the story you end up stuck in the mud with your tank and the infantry tries to get in, here in BF2042 it kinda becomes the same thing, a swarm of little soldiers rushing a giant mechanical beast that while it is immobilized, it can still be deadly. That's all for today, overall, Hack and EMP update is great.
DICE, I just wanna say, great job for this Season 6 of BF2042, the setting is perfect for the Spooky Month and I can see the lore actually becoming relevant and actually connected to the No-Pats, it started as a simple US vs Russia but now we can clearly see that it's all about the No-Pats, they got used as objects and tools, even considered as objects given the experiments they suffered, I really hope the next seasons focus on the No-Pats and their fight for their freedom.
DICE, if you're reading this, what the hell is this lore spike all of the sudden? And what took you so long to pull out something like that? You had 5 entire seasons and you choose to make one of the best teasers for a season only now? You better make more seasons cause I'm craving that stuff.
Make the specialists more involved in the lore pls, like, so far the only real important specialist was Irish but he already existed before 2042, now we got Paik doing cool spy stuff to uncover a human rights violation lab. You could have focused on more specialists before this season and I can guarantee you that people would enjoy playing their fav specialist even more. We need the LORE, bring us more LORE, this is your first game with a fictional universe after two historical games, focus on the LORE more, you want to make multiplayer the story mode? Then make sure to make the lore worth forgiving you for not including a single player story mode.

Has anyone else seen the morse code speakers in game, and taken time to decode the messages on various maps? If you have please let me know what the message/s is saying.
I'll be honest, when I read in Sundance's character bio that their parents were killed when Paris was nuked in Battlefield 3, I couldn't help but think back to Solomon and him mocking Jonathan Miller before executing him. Specifically, this portion of his monologue:
"But loss is part of growing up, isn't it? Part of growing up is accepting the inevitability of death. The inevitability, Mr. Miller, of death."
When I looked back on it, that quote felt darker with the knowledge of Sundance being orphaned by Solomon's actions, along with what happened to Miller in BF3.
Does anyone knows if they buffed the default 30mm guns on the EBAA Wildcat? because it seems to do a lot more damage against vehicles, even tanks. Now I run 30mm and AT missiles. I have become the ultimate AT multirole death machine. No but fr, 30mm is destroying air vehicles now, what used to take ages to take down transport heli seems much faster now with season 5.
I'm dedicated Medic and Support player who absolutely loved BF1 and BFV. I didn't pick up 2042 when it came out (which was a good idea in hindsight given the launch issues).
Now that I've heard the game is (kinda?) in a good place, is it worth picking up the edition so I can get caught up on the content and play now that the launch issues are sorted out and there's a lot more content?
Hello, hope yall having a great time on bf2042 like me. So, like me many of you probably saw the new Season 5 trailer and it got me thinking, should I buy the premium version of the game to get all these sweet sweet skins I missed from all previous seasons? Because if I'm not mistaken the BF currency is now also premium which mean I've been at 700 points since season 3 which mean that I'm far from being able to afford any legendary skins whatsoever...
So, what are you guys' opinion? Premium with cool cosmetics? or is it just money thrown out the window?

Hello there, I'm here to post my favorite builds for the EBAA Wildcat of BF2042.
Why now? Why this vehicle? Honestly I dunno, I found the wiki page of the EBAA and as my favorite vehicle I thought it'd be fun to share my favorite builds with all of you.
For air denial purposes I use Dual 30mm AA Cannons (mostly to block repair), Anti-Aircraft Missile (these bad boys do the job), Barrage Missile/Heavy Machine Gun/Minigun (whichever you prefer), and 60mm Mortar Weapon Pod. Smoke screen or smoke launcher for cover and repair kit.
This build allows for fast destruction of enemy air force, the rest of the crew is given good anti infantry weapons to prevent C5 and other destructive means. I recommend staying in high open areas for better visuals and less cover for enemy infantry (beware of tanks shooting from far away). Also stay away from the battlefield, I know camping is annoying but as an AA vehicle you aren’t supposed to be in the heart of the battle to be efficient.
If you want an infantry support/denial role, use: 40mm Cannon (57mm is really bad against infantry), Anti-Aircraft Missile/Anti-Tank Missile(this won't affect gameplay, 40mm is ok against air and ground vehicle, you can choose an anti air or vehicle role as you want), Heavy Machine Gun/Minigun (grenade launcher is really bad in any roles), 60mm Mortar Weapon Pod. Smoke screen or smoke launcher for cover and repair kit.
VERY IMPORTANT, the EBAA Wildcat is not an assault vehicle, never rush the enemy with it. This build is very useful for passive aggressive actions, the 40mm cannon allows for suppressive fire, it is also capable of hitting targets behind cover or corners, same for the second gunner with its machine gun. With this build I highly recommend to not stay on objectives and instead protect the infantry on the objective (stay a bit far from objective), if you spot enemy air transport or vehicles, use your missiles, the 40mm is pretty weak against tanks, but is decent against air targets.
Now, a role I use very little: Anti Vehicle role
For this build you want the 57mm Cannon, Anti-Tank Missile, Barrage Missile (not so good against tanks, but good against lightly armored vehicles), 60mm Flak Pod (for protection against air enemies), and of course smoke screen or smoke launcher with repair kit.
This build is pretty hard to use, you will have a very heavy firepower but at the same time you will sacrifice all anti infantry capabilities. Note that the missiles cannot take out a full health tank, I couldn't find the damage output of the missiles but I am sure you'll need at least 4 missiles, and that is if he doesn't use repair kit and escape. For a better chance of destroying the enemy vehicle, fire the missiles and immediately start firing your gun, this will surprise the target and reduce the chances of being spotted fast. Be aware of the 57mm velocity as it is very slow, hitting targets from far away will be harder, but safer. I personally don't recommend this build but if you wanna go hardcore mode this build is for you.
So this is it, this was my best recommended builds (from my personal experience) for the EBAA Wildcat. The crew gadgets can be changed, I only recommend them depending on role. And again don’t be scared of commenting your opinions on the EBAA or the builds.
I made the wallpaper featuring seventeen Xenoblade/Fire Emblem heroines with their favorite guns (ranging from the base game to the seasons).
I got a sizable hours on both condor and hind and I wanna share some of them.
Season 3 might come out sometime in December, so here are the weapons and vehicles I wish to see.

Who would love a game with the gunplay of BF4 and BF3, the graphics of BFV, immersivness of BF1, and falling world and dystopian background story of 2042. I know I would;)
