Vietnam's barely been touched in the Battlefield series, so I think it'd be interesting to see a game set within it.
@Chad hogan Same. I personally think cinematic trailers are cool and all, but I do agree that we need to see the gameplay first.
@ARB COOL I agree with you on it feeling unfinished. The first match I played, I noticed that some of the textures looked... off.
I'm guessing some time in the mid to late 2020s. If we're to assume the Bad Company games take place within the same continuity as BF3 and BF4, I would have to guess they take place some time after the War of 2020.
@Ryan Hostler Great! I will probably buy it then.
Kind of a late comment here, but I wouldn't mind seeing North Korea as a minor playable faction in the multiplayer. I would like to see them included in a couple maps and perhaps have them pitted against the US or maybe even Russia, but not feature them as a major enemy faction. But that's just me.

@GummyCombat123 I agree 100%. The Vietnam War does give Battlefield a lot of potential to use a lot of the cool weapons and vehicles that were featured in the war. Let's hope if it does happen, they don't mess with the history like they did with BFV.
For the near future option, I didn't mean to add "present" in the text. My mistake, sorry.

I beat this campaign not too long ago, and I would like to express my thoughts on it on this Wiki.
In my opinion, BF3's campaign was a lot of fun. The story itself was fine, but I also think it balances between being a story about a global terror plot and being a gritty war story fairly well. I don't remember a lot of the characters however, except for Blackburn, the protagonist and the guys from the GRU team. With that said however, it was still a fascinating war story about a terrorist plot, and it was a blast to play through.
BF1 still has a very active and large playerbase, so I'd recommend revisiting that one. BF3 has a tiny but still active following, but is basically dead on the Xbox 360, which is what I have it on. Haven't touched BF4, even though I should lol.
