There was a server outage affecting all EA games on the 18th February, but that was only for a few hours, certainly not weeks. The connection problem is most likely on your end.
Consensus thus far is that they are not. Battlefield 3 and 4 are the only games to have continuity, while the Bad Company games may not even relate to each other given that the events of BC1 were never referred to in the sequel.

Nobody knows yet. DICE have stated they'd only become available for purchase at the end of the chapter.
You have to have owned/played Battlefield 3 or Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on the same account to receive the Veteran Battlepack.
It may help people if you provide the platform you are using.
All Sniper and Marksman variants of single-action rifles have scope glint.
Part of our copyright policy BF:LEAK forbids us from featuring unannounced content leaked while under legally-binding NDA. However these items are included in a publicly released product and can technically be accessed by anyone with the game. As such they are not covered by our policy in its current form.
Those are unreleased items extracted from the current build's game files.
The ability to purchase previous ToS guns is apparently coming with the February 12th Update.
That's an unfortunate bug. Have you tried using the Server Browser to join a match in progress? You can use the search filters to find maps you haven't played on.
I cannot abide your request. Regardless of your general conduct, some edits you made were indeed useful and added to the quality of certain pages, and were therefore not reverted in the first place. Authorial ownership is against the spirit of wikis - any knowledge posted is for the benefit of the larger community, and also subject to revision by others. As a result, I will not be removing all of your edits. However, I believe you can remove named attachment to any of your edits as a result of Wikia's "Right to be Forgotten" policy. (See community.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contact/forget-account)
I'm sorry for any distress this may have caused you. My only intent was only to bring your writing up to our standard, and made sure it adhered to [[BF:MoS]]. However, your inability to take criticism, accept and follow our wiki's writing policies, and your repeated abusive behaviour in the form of profane personal attacks is unacceptable, the latter of which being grounds for blocking (See [[BF:CONDUCT]]). I overlooked your past offences in good faith, assuming you'd turn around once I explained things to you. But then again, you told me straight up your were a lost cause, and in retrospect I appreciate your honesty.
Make sure you are playing standard Conquest. The recently added Squad Conquest (8v8) is only playable on three of eight maps needed for the trophy.
Pretty much. The phrasing of the original post ("Who agrees?") and the responses afterwards were not at all conducive to a constructive discussion.
@Mr.MagikMain According to your contribution history, you have no edits.
First of all, "The reload animation is different between games" is not trivia - if it was, it'd be repeated on nearly every page.
Second, the [[BF:IRL]] policy exists because generally people come to the Battlefield Wiki to learn about guns in the Battlefield games, whereas a place like IMFDB is a better place for such commentary as it's a gun enthusiast's website. It's a policy that keeps the main body of articles unambiguous as to what is portrayed in game (as opposed to what isn't).
Main point: not all of your edits have been reverted. Some have just been corrected for spelling and grammar. Others have been trimmed down to remove superfluous information and unfitting language. Obviously some have been outright reverted, but sometimes this is necessary.
The Admin team are not infallible but in general we know what an article must look and sound like to follow [[BF:MoS]], and any changes are made purely to that end. I try to explain exactly why I made changes in the edit summary but this is not always possible. Remember, you can leave a message my [[User_talk:FluoxetinePatch|talk page]] if you want to discuss revisions or if you need further guidance.
The somewhat harsh truth that all editors must make peace with is that there is always room for improvement, and usually that comes from someone else, but in of itself this is a fundamental strength of the wiki format. Instead of making posts complaining about every change you should either discuss them with us or adapt your style. Growing that thick skin is the first step on the path to being a self-sufficient and competent contributor, and I genuinely want to help you do it.
No, it doesn't. The closest you get is assignment and Tides of War chapter descriptions, but they are not collectable and there is no gallery where you can look at them all.
