The 1st Tank Battalion is an armor battalion of the United States Marine Corps. It falls under the command of the 1st Marine Division and I Marine Expeditionary Force. The 1st Tank Battalion appears in Battlefield 3.

The player takes the role of Corporal Jonathan "Jono" Miller, a member of the 1st Marine Tank Battalion. His teammate and tank loader, Ingham, is another member of the tank battalion.
