The 222nd Army Battalion is a fictional battalion of the United States Army in Battlefield: Bad Company and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Main article: Bravo One Charlie

While not much is known about the battalion, it does house B-Company, a unit where the Army rakes together all the insubordinates, hell-raisers and troublemakers that won't fit in any other unit. They are also said to be "the first ones in and the last ones out", having the highest mortality rate in the entire United States Army, with membership seen as a punishment. This can be interpreted as the US army treats the B-company as expandable and often sends them to suicide missions.

Battlefield: Bad CompanyEdit

Singleplayer Edit

Preston Marlowe, the protagonist and playable character, is the newest member of the 222nd's 'B' Company. As such, the battalion appears in all missions of the singleplayer campaign.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2Edit

While not mentioned in-game, the 222nd Battalion is presumed to still be fighting in Europe or has been relocated to South America to fight there.
