The XM913 is an experimental American chain gun developed by an American state-owned enterprise Picatinny Arsenal. The cannon is described to be very larger and more modernized from the 25mm Bushmaster cannon. The 50mm cannon isn't too much longer than the 25mm Bushmaster despite it having shells that are twice as wide (50 x 228mm) in diameter. Both the 50mm and 25mm cannons possess overall lengths of 105.2 inches and 117.7 inches, whereas the turret-intruding portions are measured 30.0 inches and 40.1 inches respectively.

The 50mm Cannon in Battlefield 2042 is a primary weapon exclusively for the M5C Bolte, Mi-240 Super Hind, and MV-38 Condor. It is also a secondary weapon for the MAV.
