The subject of this article, ACV-S, has been cut from the final version of a Battlefield game.

The ACV-S (Armored Combat Vehicle - Stretched) is a further development of the M113, as it retains the basic shape of the particular vehicle. It was derived from the ACV-300, which was also based upon the M113. It is currently in service with Turkish Armed Forces.

The ACV-S is a cut vehicle from both Bad Company games, intended to be an Anti-Aircraft Vehicle equipped with a VADS in the place of a gunner turret. It is based off of the M163 VADS variant of the M113, but uses the longer body of the Stretched variant.

The ACV-S is a cut anti-aircraft vehicle in Battlefield: Bad Company. Its render can be seen in the game's official Prima guide. It is equipped with a VADS in the place of a standard turret. In the final game, the BMD-3 AA is the only anti-aircraft vehicle that appears, and only during the singleplayer mission Air Force One.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2[]

"U.S. Military Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun (SPAAG) mounted on the chassis of the aging M113 Armored Personnel Carrier. Its main weapon is a 20 mm rotary cannon that is often employed in a direct-fire support role during ground operations."

The ACV-S

The M163 Vulcan AA (referred to as ACV-S in certain files) is a cut anti-aircraft vehicle in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It was likely intended to be the American equivalent to the Russian BMD-3 Bakhcha AA. The vehicle's render is available in the official Bad Company 2 Fan Site kit. It reuses the same model from Bad Company but now has a woodland camouflage paint scheme.
