Prior to entering Pax Armata, Alexander served a Troop Commander for the Special Air Service, with deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, and Northern Ireland. During the War of 2014, a US Delta Force and SAS joint operation in Syria for Iranian Chemical weapons went awry. With Kincaid going back to recover his troops but failed; he was subsequently captured by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and was tortured; with the Iranians pouring acid onto his face, giving him his disfigurement on his face.[1]
