Battle Pass is a monetization model officially introduced in Battlefield 2042 with player can earns rewards from playing the game and progress through level up the tiers.
Battlefield V[]

While not explicitly called Battle Pass, each Tides of War chapters featured Chapter Rank Rewards that gave rewards to player by progressing from level 0 to level 40 either by completing weekly challenges, special assignments or simply playing the game, with ability to getting reward instantly by paying 150
per 1 level. The Chapter Rank Rewards system is free for every players that playing at that time. Player who miss the reward can buy it in the form of bundle in The Armory for 30,000
or 990 for each chapter.
Battlefield 2042[]
The Battle Pass is featured in Battlefield 2042, player can bought separately or through Year Pass. Each Battle Pass featured 100 levels of rewards for both free and premium user with rewards that have impact on gameplay (like new weapons, gadgets, vehicles and specialist) are available for everyone. Player can level up by completing weekly missions or gaining XP from playing. Each tiers need 10 points to progress or for premium user, spending real world money to skip the level.[1][2]
Battle Pass is available for 1,000 BFC/$9.99 and Premium bundle with 20 tiers skip for 2,400 BFC/$19.99. In Dark Creations and Turning Point season, player can bought the Ultimate Pack which include the Battle Pass, 20 tiers skip and additional rewards using real world money for $19.99.
Event Pass[]
Introduced in Circle of Hell event, an Event Pass can be bought for 500 BFC/$4.99. The Event Pass functioning similar to Battle Pass system but featured lower levels and rewards at 30 tiers. The Accelerated Event Pass with additional rewards and 15 tiers skip can be purchase using real world money for $9.99.
