Battlefield 2042: Dark Creations is the sixth season of the Battlefield 2042 live service. It was revealed in a Twitter post on June 5th, 2023.^[1] The teaser trailer was shown on October 2nd, 2023, gameplay trailer on October 5th, 2023 and is available on October 10th, 2023 to February 20th, 2024.^[2]

Holiday Protocol was an event between December 12, 2023 to January 9, 2024. It featured 4 limited-time Battlefield Portal gamemode including Rapid Strike, Attack of the Elves, Infantry Conquest Chaos and Pondhawk Superiority.

Year of the Dragon was an event between February 6, 2024 to February 20, 2024. It featured 2 limited-time playlists and new cosmetics under the theme of Chinese New Year.

Trivia[]

This marks the first season to span over 19 weeks (originally 16 weeks) in total, making it the longest Battlefield 2042 season so far.
The season was originally set to available between October 10th, 2023 to January 30th, 2024 but was extended to February 20th, 2024.
