Battlefield 2042: New Dawn is the fifth season of the Battlefield 2042 live service. It was revealed in a blog post on December 1st, 2022.[1] The trailer was shown on May 26th, 2023 and is available on June 7th, 2023 to August 29th, 2023.
The season introduces new weapons such as the GEW-46, BFP.50 and the XCE Bar. The addition of 2042 attachments and skins to Vault Weapons. While the season does not introduce a new Specialist, it does add various quality of life features such as an update to the Squad system, balancing for Dozer and Irish, etc.[2][3]

Arkangel Directive[]

Arkangel Directive was a mid-season event between July 11, 2023 to July 25, 2023. It featured new limited-time gamemode called Control. The event also introduce new cosmetics under the theme of Arkangel Legion of Arkangel Corporation.
