Battlefield is an upcoming installment in the Battlefield series set to release in late 2021. The game is set to be revealed on June 9th, 2021.[4]
Development
The game was confirmed by EA CEO Andrew Wilson in an investor call on October 29, 2019. Nothing else is currently known about the game except that it will be available and take full advantage of next-generation consoles and will be driven by live service offerings. Additionally, it will see major innovations in multiplayer, social, and competition aspects that are new to the franchise.[5]
The game has been describe to take everything to next level, including scale, millitary warfare, unexpected moments, destruction and massive battles with more players and mayhem than ever before.
Marketing
On June 4th, 2021, Official Battlefield Twitter account sent a message to bunch of gaming content creator through Direct Message with a distorted text at different section per images.[6]
On June 5th, 2021, Several players in community got a short teaser videos with the title "Emergency Broadcast".[7]
