Battlefield 3 features achievements and trophies that can be unlocked upon the completion of certain objectives in the singleplayer, co-op and multiplayer game modes.

The standard game provides a total of 38 Achievements on Xbox 360 and 39 Trophies on PlayStation 3, the extra being the Platinum trophy. On the PS3 however, six of these trophies are secret and their descriptions can only be seen upon earning them. The game's five expansion packs, Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game, provide 25 more Achievements and Trophies, increasing the total to 63 and 64, respectively.

In May 2013, an Achievements system was introduced to Origin for PC players, awarding achievement points similar to Xbox Live. Nine achievements from the original list (starting with "Vehicle Warfare" below), along with all 25 DLC achievements are available.
