"At 11:15AM on September 3rd, 1939 the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain announced that Britain was at war with Germany. This followed the German refusal to withdraw their troops from Poland. The British Parliament enacted the National Service Act calling on all able bodied residents to be conscripted into the armed forces as well as volunteer for essential work to support the war effort. In kind Germany and it's allies took similar measures."

Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 04 Fortify Defenses Controlling the flow of battle can give teams a distinct advantage. With the build tool equipped you may build fortifications to provide cover and control routes around objectives in designated areas. Support class players have the ability to construct fortifications more quickly and have more fortification types available than other classes.

Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 06 Snögubbe A traditional Scandinavian snögubbe or snögumma is constructed using two or three spheres of snow stacked on top of each other with the largest on the bottom and smallest on top representing the head. Facial features are created using small stones as eyes and traditionally a carrot as the nose, usually with a big smile.
Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 06 Hold the Fort All team members may build fortifications, but in addition support class players may construct stationary weapons, potentially giving their team an opportunity to suppress the enemy and help prevent them from entering an objective area.

Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 10 Calling Squad leaders have an additional ability to call in reinforcements if their squad has collected enough squad points in a match.
Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 11 Focus Fire Working together is effective in nearly all aspects of combat on the battlefield. Squad points will be awarded for kills as well as kill assists and can be used to call in reinforcements to aid in completing an objective.
Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 12 Look Up With enough squad points, one of the most effective reinforcements a squad leader may call in is an airstrike with a V1 or JB2 rocket.

Week 4: Snøstorm (December 27, 2018 - January 6, 2019)Edit

German forces had entered into Norway in hopes of securing resources such as the Swedish iron ore vital to their war effort. As the flotilla approached land both sides made preparations for the battle that would decide Narvik's future."

Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 20 Greater Purpose Flags are captured by being the dominant team in the area around the flag. This is accomplished by having more teammates in the designated area than the opposing team.

Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 21 Rejection A defensive kill is accomplished by achieving a kill of an attacker who is in your team's captured objective area, or by achieving a kill while inside your team's objective area.

Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 22 Dominating In domination the objective is to hold as many of the objective points at one time as possible. The more objective points under a team's control the faster a team's tickets will count down to victory.
Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 23 Infiltrate and Destroy In frontlines and airborne the objective is to destroy objectives using designated explosives picked up on the battlefield. Placing the explosive on an objective arms it and begins a countdown. The defending team has a chance to disarm the explosive once it has been placed if the countdown has not reached zero.
Battlefield V Overture Mission Icon 20 Iron Ore The victory or defeat of each day in a grand operation has an effect on the following day's skirmish. To win a grand operation your team must be the victor on the final day.
