"We want you to do what you do best. Be unorthodox, be lethal. Can you do that for me?"

— Braidwood

General Braidwood is a four star General in the US Army and the Commander of the Special Activities Division in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. He is encountered at the end of Cold War, when Redford's squad brings him a piece of the scalar weapon the Russians are building. The piece is determined to be a fake by himself, saying he knew about it but that he needed to know more about it. For this task, he recruits the squad into the Special Activities Division and sends the squad to bring information about the weapon to Agent Aguire in Bolivia. He later appears in the final cutscene of Airborne where he thanks the squad for saving the country on behalf of the government, but also tells the squad that he needs them to fight the Russians as they are invading through Alaska.

Trivia

  • He has nine other units than Redford's squad in his command that are also in Special Activities.
  • Braidwood is only seen and heard two times in the singleplayer
