Overview 2042

Three variants of C4 are featured in Battlefield 2042. The variants from two previous games retain their characteristics from their original games, such as distance thrown, capacity, and damage model.

C5 Explosive (Battlefield 2042)[]

"C5 composite explosive charge with remote detonator. Can be placed creatively. Sticks to targets - including vehicles. Excels against armored targets. For a larger blast, deploy multiple packs before detonation."

— In-game Description

C5 Explosive is a gadget featured in Battlefield 2042, available to the Assault, Engineer, and Recon classes.

The gadget functions in a similar manner to past installments, allowing players to throw sticky charges and detonate them remotely. As per the description, C5 can be placed onto vehicles, including friendly ones. When rigging an enemy vehicle, players should watch out as C5 can deal significant damage and also outright kill the user if detonated too close.

Compared to previous entries in the series C5 may be thrown much further, allowing some creative use of it.

One pack of C5 is resupplied when near a Ammunition Crate, or all 2 when resupplying from Angel's Loadout Crate.
