A subcategory of handguns, wherein the weapon has multiple chambers which are stored in a revolving cylinder, contrary to pistols, who have a single chamber integral to the barrel.
Some shotguns and rifles also use a revolver mechanism, such as the DAO-12 and the automatic MK3A1 Jackhammer. These weapons are not included in this category.
