Colorblind mode is an optional setting mode featured in Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 that was originally added for PC players to differentiate teammates and enemies easier.
Battlefield 3[]
Colorblind was originally a feature exclusive to PC but was later added to consoles in the Battlefield 3 June Patch.

The mode changes the color of essentially all HUD elements and also adds a black border around text/icons to make them easier to see.

Colorblind returns in Battlefield 4, holding the same function as before.

Battlefield 1[]
Colorblind returns in Battlefield 1, holding the same function as before with the exception to optionally customize the color of certain colors.
To access the feature, one must go into Options under Video, the player than can switch between off (default choice) and three presets, with custom being the last optional.
