"Beacons hot, I'm ready."

— Angel

Constantin "Angel" Anghel is a Support specialist featured in Battlefield 2042.

Profile[]

Birthdate // July 18th, 2005 (37 years old)
Birth Location // Ploiești, Romania
Spoken Languages // Native Romanian, Russian, English
Nationality // Romanian

Personal History[]

Born the son of an auto mechanic, Angel tinkered with cars from an early age, usually in an effort to increase their speed. Recognizing his son's prowess and determined to keep him safe, his father allowed him to work on an old WWII fighter engine he had long neglected.

After several years Constantin had fully restored the engine, as well as adding a few of his own personal modifications. But unknown to his father he'd attached it to an old plane chassis. It was a short test flight that ended with the teenager barely escaping with his life. An incident that earned him the nickname, "Angel".

As a young man, Angel was drawn to the military and the chance to operate some of the most advanced machines in the world. He joined the Romanian Naval forces and while conflict and war did much to lessen his optimism, it was a testament to Angel's character that he never lost hope that he could one day make a difference and fix things.

As Romania was swept up in the great European crisis, Angel feared for his father's safety and returned home on leave. Citizens were being evacuated to large settlements outside the major cities. But Angel's father refused to go. His workshop was his life - they would have to kill him before he abandoned it. Angel begged but it was no use. Rather than fight, Angel proposed they spend their last day together tinkering on an old car. It was just like old times. When Angel finally said goodbye it was the last time he would see his father alive.

Back on duty, Angel's ship was on a routine rescue mission when it was sunk by an unmarked hostile vessel. After several days alone in a lifeboat, rationing food and water, he was rescued by the MFS-04 Exodus. It was a fortuitous encounter as the ship had run into engine trouble that confounded the workers onboard. Once recovered, Angel joined the repair effort and proved pivotal in getting the ship back on course. He'd always hoped he could make a difference and fix things. With the No-Pats he finally has his chance.

Specialty[]

"Delivers ammunition and crates that allow for loadout changes."

— In-game description

Angel is equipped with the Loadout Crate as his specialty. When first selected, the player is able to distribute resupply packs, which can be thrown to the ground or directly thrown to a teammate. These will top off 3 magazines of ammo for friendlies when collected. A maximum of three may be carried at any time, but the player will replenish them after a short cooldown.

By pressing Aim, the player may deploy a beacon which in turn marks a drop point for Angel to call in a Supply Drop. All players may approach the crate to resupply or change the loadout, immediately restocking the player (similar to Battlefield 4's Supply Drop). The Loadout Crate, however, does not have an area-of-effect feature. The Loadout Crate may also act as cover against incoming fire but will be destroyed if hit with any explosive or armor piercing projectile.

Caution should be advised with the Loadout Crate, as being crushed by the Loadout Crate will often result in severe blunt force trauma to the head, Leading to a spontaneous death.

Trait[]

— In-game description

Angel comes with Trauma Specialist as his trait. It allows him to revive any downed teammate and resupply their primary and secondary ammo while doing so.
