"Good news, No-Pats - we have new tech for your deployment. Every member of your squad has been equipped with an Arkangel telemetry sensor. Those sensors will feed live combat and geographical data back to Arkangel satellites. The Russians are here too, and they have the same goal. Get ready to fight them for every inch of territory."

— American Briefing

"We're relying on your scouting expertise today, No-Pats. Arkangel has provided us with telemetry sensors that capture combat and geographical data. The Americans have the same technology. We must capture transmitter and force them out of this territory. Once we have strong enough signals, we can send vehicle assistance. Move out!"

Control is a gamemode featured in Battlefield 2042, introduced in Arkangel Directive mid-season event of New Dawn season. Two teams of 24 players have to capture and defend objectives that available for limited time. The gamemode has four phase, with phase one has 4 objectives, phase two has 3 objectives, phase three has 2 objectives and the final phase has only one objective at the center of the map.
