Dead Space is an event of Battlefield 2042 that was held between July 9, 2024 to July 16, 2024 and May 6, 2025 to May 20, 2025. It featured Outbreak as limited-time gamemode. The event also introduced new cosmetics under the theme of Dead Space, another franchise from Electronic Arts.[1][2]

- Before the event being held in 2024, official Battlefield Twitter account made a reference to the Dead Space franchise as an April Fools' Day joke back in 2023.[3]
- The Future Imperfect charm depicts The Marker, an enigmatic object that generate Necromorph.
