Discarded is a map featured in Battlefield 2042. It was first seen in the Battlefield 2042 Official Reveal Trailer (ft. 2WEI). The map takes place along a stretch of India's western coastline being used for shipbreaking.

The map received a major improvement as part of Season 4 in Update 4.2 (Season 4).

"Our lost submarine, has been recovered in Alang, India. While our national property is being defiled, our most secret weapon systems are being looted. This is an emergency. Naval Infantry will deploy immediately and with them you must prevent the Americans from establishing a presence. This effort will not come easily. Fight well."

— Russian Briefing

"Russians have been nosing around a ship recycling facility in Alang, India. And now one of our subs is tracking a substantial Russian naval force converging on it. We don't know exactly what the Russians want - but they aren't going to get it. You're being deployed to secure the facility. Coordinate with other task forces on-site. Command out."

"Our lost Russian submarine has been recovered in Alang, India. But not by us. 20 minutes ago we received orders to attack and take it back. Join our task forces and penetrate the facility. Our victory will come when we have cleared American troops from the area. You will receive additional information on-site. Go. Out."

— Russian Briefing

"US personnel are occupying a ship recycling facility in Alang, India. I can't say why, but the facility is important enough that the Russians want to take control. You must stop the Russians invasion. They have limited resources in the region - so make sure they pay for every step they take. Go. Transport's waiting!"
