EA Gothenburg (known between 2012 and 2020 as Ghost Games) is a Swedish developer based in Gothenburg, Sweden and owned by Electronic Arts. The studio was known for being developer of Need for Speed series during 2013 to 2020 before EA move the franchise to Criterion Games and make EA Gothenburg working as support studio for other games. The announcement was made on April 22, 2021 that the studio is working on Battlefield 2042 by "taking technology in the game to the next level".[1]
