Easy Studios (stylized as EAsy) was a video game studio owned by Electronic Arts based in Sweden. Easy was originally part of DICE, but was separated into its own studio in 2008 and took over development of Battlefield Heroes. Easy also developed Battlefield Play4Free, which also utilized the "Play4Free" service of Electronic Arts. Following the shutdown of both Heroes and Play4Free in 2015, the studio was also shut down and appears to have merged back with DICE.
Easy Studios was founded in 2008 in Stockholm, Sweden. The company was founded by Electronic Arts to create games using the new "Play4Free" service regulated by Electronic Arts. Easy Studios has co-developed other games in EA's Play4Free catalog such as Lord of Ultima and Battleforge.
Easy Studio's two Battlefield games, Heroes and Play4Free, were shutdown on July 14, 2015. The studio's website began redirecting to DICE's website sometime after March 2015, suggesting that the studio merged back with DICE following the shutdown.
