In Battlefield Heroes, there are four submachine guns that are based on the AK-74, being the AK74, Specialist's Tier 1 AK-74, Scoped SOF AK74 and AK74-30 Battle Rifle.

AK74[]

The AK74 is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Battlefield Heroes Gets Bad Company update. It is available to the Soldier class of the National Army. It is the counterpart of the Royal Army M16. A pilfered variant of the AK74 is also available to the Royal Army. The AK74 is statistically identical to the Rudolf's Uber Rescue.

Golden AK74[]

"Super shiny AK74 to show off to your friends!"

The Golden AK74 is a golden weapon variant featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Football Fiesta 2010 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the National Army. It is the counterpart of the Royal Army Golden M16. To obtain the Golden AK74, a player must have purchased a jersey of the championship football team (Spain) from a promotional event during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. A pilfered variant of the Golden AK74 is also available to the Royal Army, released with the Football Fiesta 2014 update. The Golden AK74 is statistically identical to the Golden Uber Rescue.

Specialist's Tier 1 AK-74[]

The Specialist's Tier 1 AK-74 is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Medal of Honor 2010 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the National Army. It is the counterpart of the Royal Army Tier 1 Elite M16. Despite being equipped with a scope and a bayonet, they are unusable. The Specialist's Tier 1 AK-74 is statistically identical to The Uber Wacky Machine Gun.

Scoped SOF AK74[]

"This modern mid-range uber SMG comes equipped with a functional scope attachment. Zoom in and take out the enemy!"

The Scoped SOF AK74 is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Christmas 2010 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the National Army. It is the counterpart of the Royal Army Scoped SOF M16. Despite being equipped with a scope and a bayonet, they are unusable. The Scoped SOF AK74 is statistically identical to The Uber Kommandant.

AK74-30 Battle Rifle[]

"With a 3 round accurate burst fire capability and an added underslug grenade launcher it can tackle all combat situations!"

The AK74-30 Battle Rifle is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Christmas 2011 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the National Army. It is the counterpart of the Royal Army M16-203 Battle Rifle. The AK74-30 Battle Rifle differs from the standard AK74 with a burst fire mode and an underslung GP-30 grenade launcher.

Golden AK74-30 Battle Rifle[]

"An exclusive golden version of the AK-74 Battle Rifle."

The Golden AK-74 Battle Rifle is a golden weapon variant featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Civil War update. It is available to the Soldier class of the National Army. It is the counterpart of the Royal Army Golden M16-203 Battle Rifle. To obtain the Golden AK74-30 Battle Rifle, a player must have purchased it via a Top Up Gift during the Civil War update.

Trivia[]

  • The AK74 is referred to as the AEK-971 in the game files, indicating the weapon was originally going to be the AEK-971.
  • Despite being used to promote Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the AK-74 does not appear in the game itself.
