The Lenco BEARCAT in reality

The Lenco BearCat (Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter Attack Truck), sometimes referred to as an Armored Rescue Vehicle, is an armored personnel carrier designed for military and law enforcement use. Based on the Ford F-550 Super Duty Chassis, it was designed by Lenco Industries in 2001. The bodywork is fitted with half an inch thick steel with .50 caliber-rated ballistic glass capable of withstanding multiple hits, blast-resistant floors, specially designed gunports, roof hatches equipped with a mounted turret, and agency-specific equipment and/or modifications such as lights/sirens/battering ram/winches/thermal cameras and spot lights.

They are primarily used to transport personnel such as SWAT units of Special Response Teams to and from hostile situations as well as to assist with the recovery and protection of civilians during terrorist threats, hostage incidents or encounters with armed offenders.

Battlefield Hardline[]

The Armored Rescue Vehicle is a vehicle featured in Battlefield Hardline, serving as the Law Enforcement's Counter Attack Truck. Its Criminal counterpart is the Hardened Attack Truck.

Unlike armored cars in previous games, the main weapons are controlled by the driver, in a manner similar to the LAV-25 of Battlefield 4. The driver has three different options for primaries, Between the AP MMG - A great anti infantry tool but against vehicles of its same class it tends to suffer. A slow firing yet sustainable HMG which increases damage against armour, making it more suitable for the desired role and the Dreaded M3m, An amped up HMG that fires quickly but will overheat quickly with sustained fire.

In the secondary weapon slot, The driver is also equipped with a Smoke Grenade launcher to blind infantry or a Tear Gas launcher which can as well blind infantry, But often giving the driver more control in areas.

The second position is armed with a M249 SAW on a 360° mount, effective for fighting off infantry or light vehicles.

The vehicle is completely armored and has bulletproof windows, and cannot be damaged by small arms fire. It can only be damaged by explosives or powerful vehicle weapons.
