A Fire Axe is a specially designed axe used by firefighters with a pick-shaped poll end. They are primarily used to knock down doors or windows during a fire, and are usually brightly colored so they can be easily located during an emergency. Despite actually being life-saving and rescue tools for firefighters in real-life, fire axes commonly appear in pop-culture as impromptu weapons.

The Fire Axe is a weapon introduced in the Battlefield Hardline: Getaway expansion. Like the Machete and Sledge Hammer, it is a heavy melee weapon, requiring a short time to pull up and swing the weapon but killing in one hit under all circumstances.

The Fire Axe is a melee weapon featured in Battlefield V. Introduced in the third Tides of War chapter, Trial By Fire, it is unlocked by completing all chapter challenges in week 3. The axe functions in the same manner as all other melee weapons.
