The Heckler & Koch G36E is the export version of HK's standard G36. It is normally fitted with a top picatinny rail over the integrated reflex sight found on the standard G36 rifle, instead relying on either 3rd party optics or it's integrated iron sights, but it can be purchased with the integrated sight. It fires the 5.56mm NATO round & has a 30 round magazine. This "E" version was produced as an export version for the Spanish military and Latvian military as well as the open market. It is featured in Battlefield 2 as an unlockable weapon.
Battlefield 2
The G36E is a Tier Two unlock for the Medic Kit in Battlefield 2. The G36E is considered to be one of the best weapons in the game, as it has similar stats to the G36C, but with a slightly higher damage output and less recoil. Unlike the G36C, the G36E only has Semi-Automatic and Burst fire fire modes while the G36C has the Semi-Automatic and Fully Automatic fire modes.
