The German Elite Forces are a playable Axis faction introduced with Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII. They represent an unspecified elite unit of the Third Reich's Wehrmacht, taking cues from the real life Fallschirmjäger and Waffen-SS units.

Vehicles
Their vehicles are mostly the same as the Wehrmacht, but wholly indigenous and with several additions introduced with the expansion. On urban maps such as Kbely Airfield and Essen their vehicles have the same grey camouflage as the Wehrmacht - this color scheme is continued on Hellendoorn, however the vehicles are now covered with snow. Meanwhile on Raid on Agheila the faction's vehicles have the same desert camouflage as the Afrika Korps.
