SIG KE7

A SIG KE7 in reality

The SIG KE7 is a recoil operated, air cooled light machine gun. A joint collaboration between SIG's chief engineer Gotthard End and Hungarian draftsman Pál de Király, production of the KE7 started in 1929 in Switzerland until 1938. While the weapon saw export sales, it was never used domestically by the Swiss Army. The weapon features a curved by magazine which is capable of holding 25 rounds.

Battlefield V

"Even though this light machine gun was designed in Switzerland, the Swiss army never used it. It had a quick-change barrel, and a selective fire mode similar to that on many submachine guns."

— In-game description

The KE7 is a weapon featured in Battlefield V. It was first seen in the Gamescom trailer.

Singleplayer

The weapon can be found frequently throughout the singleplayer, where it can be obtained from supply crates.

Multiplayer

The KE7 the starter Support weapon and is unlocked by default. In its category, the weapon has the second lowest magazine capacity and a moderate fire rate, but has high accuracy in aimed fire and relatively low recoil. Although reloads are frequent, with the reloading process itself being on the slower side, the weapon is well suited to medium range engagements, and can be shot effectively from both standing and with the Bipod deployed, in fully automatic without much compensation.

For Specializations, the KE7 comes with Quick Reload, Enhanced Grips, Light Bolt and Lightened Stock unlocked by default. Its alternative choices are Quick Aim, Custom Stock, Ported Barrel and Barrel Bedding.
