The SIG KE7 is a recoil operated, air cooled light machine gun. A joint collaboration between SIG's chief engineer Gotthard End and Hungarian draftsman Pál de Király, production of the KE7 started in 1929 in Switzerland until 1938. While the weapon saw export sales, it was never used domestically by the Swiss Army. The weapon features a curved by magazine which is capable of holding 25 rounds.

— In-game description
Singleplayer[edit | edit source]
The weapon can be found frequently throughout the singleplayer, where it can be obtained from supply crates.
Multiplayer[edit | edit source]
The KE7 is the starter Support weapon, being unlocked by default. In its category, the weapon has the second lowest magazine capacity and a moderate fire rate, as well as quite high vertical recoil. The low capacity is a significant drawback during sustained fire and when engaging long-range targets using the Bipod, with reloads that are frequent and slow, regardless of if the magazine is empty or not. In spite of this, the weapon is well suited to medium range engagements as its rate of fire helps in mitigating the weapon's high per-shot recoil. The KE7 uses the same damage model as virtually all other LMGs and MMGs, being a four shot kill at 20m, five at 30m, six at 50m and seven at all other ranges.
For Specializations, the KE7 comes with Quick Reload, Enhanced Grips, Light Bolt and Lightened Stock unlocked by default. Its alternative choices are Quick Aim, Custom Stock, Ported Barrel and Barrel Bedding.
