The introverted and anti-social Wikus "Casper" Van Dale is something of a walking contradiction. Solitary by nature, he is fiercely loyal to those he considers his friends. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Casper turned to nature and distance running to manage his anxiety and depression. Became a member of the 5 Special Forces Regiment before moving to MONUSCO peacekeeping missions. Has experienced the pain of global refugees first hand when his entire family was killed by the Cape Town tsunami.
