The Knife is an all kit weapon featured in Battlefield Vietnam, used by the U.S.-aligned factions. The knife retains the same code and statistics as the Battlefield 1942 variant but features a drastically different design, being much larger, and held with the blade down and to the side, rather than upright. The Axis knife, keeping its code from Battlefield 1942, was also redesigned into the Machete, used by the N.V.A.. On the other hand, the Plantation Knife, used by the Viet Cong, is a completely new weapon.
Battlefield Vietnam World War II Mod[]
The Battlefield 1942 models of the knife appear in the Battlefield Vietnam World War II Mod, with an Allied knife issued to the United States Marine Corps and an Axis knife issued to the Imperial Japanese Army. The Knife retains the same statistics, however.
