The Safran Optics 1 MOSKITO TI, adopted as the Laser Target Locator Module II (LTLM II), is an American handheld or tripod-mounted laser target locator that can transmit targeting data to fire support teams to provide battlefield intelligence.

The LTLM program was started in the late 2000s by the United States Army to find a laser designation system for regular soldiers to identify targets in daytime, nighttime, and in all weather conditions. An upgraded device known as the LTLM II was selected in 2016, reducing its weight and increasing its technological capabilities.

"The designator functions as binoculars for enhanced spotting and allows users to mark both vehicles and locations. Provides faster and longer range lock-ons for the Air Defense and Long-Range launchers to target ground and air threats. Users can set the device to function autonomously and remotely access the designator at any point, which can rotate to provide a 360 degree field of view."

— In-game description

The LTLM II, or the Laser Designator, is a gadget in Battlefield 6. It is unlocked by default and is exclusive to the Recon.

Like previous versions of the Laser Designator, the LTLM II in Battlefield 6 is handheld by default and can be used to spot enemies and mark vehicles/enemy aircraft for lock-on, and comes with multiple zoom levels. It is equipped with white-hot thermal vision, and comes equipped with a small tripod that the user can place to remotely operate and control the designator from anywhere on the map for as long as they don't die or place another. It can also freely paint marked spots on the terrain.
