Letters

Letters are collectibles featured in the singleplayer War Stories of Battlefield V. The game is saved automatically once a letter is picked up and the chapter does not need to be completed in order for progress to be saved. Upon finding all letters and completing all challenges in a war story, a unique melee weapon is unlocked for use in multiplayer. A total of 46 letters can be found across all four war story campaigns.

3		Head west from the village with the radar dish to a bridge. Cross it and when the path splits, go right. The letter is located on the right side of the path by a rock pile.	You'll Never Know
4		Head north from the COMM bunker and follow the road that leads northeast. Take a right when passing a rock pile and walk through bushes. The letter is located at the base of one of the various trees.	Blot Out The British
5		Head north/northeast from the COMM bunker through water. The letter is found on a small island oasis to the right of the car.	Too Young To Enlist
6		Located at the airfield in sand and rocks behind a tower at the end of the runway on the left.	Report Immediately To Berlin

4		To the left of the door that opens to the resistance fighter is a small office with a typewriter. The letter is located on the desk in the office.	They Cannot Take Us All

All Is Ash

2		From the first letter, continue along the ice. When the path heads right towards the power station, head left instead to the left slope. The letter is located towards the top of the slope by a fire.	He Has Your Eyes
3		Located by the power station inside a small wooden hut. Walking along the fence until the hut is found.	It Can Only Be Malice
4		Following the power station and heading down the slope, the player is expected to head west past the final fire towards the end of the level. Instead go to the fire and turn to face south/southeast. Walk towards the trees and look towards the right side to spot a body in the snow. The letter is located on the body.	The Next Girl

6		Located in the bunker at the end of the level, it can be found in the first room on the right after entering.	A Terrible Mess

5		Once the third artillery gun is destroyed, head northeast where a large satellite is located. The letter is located to the right of the satellite in a small area with a large number of boxes.	Three Lucky Coins

2		From the last letter, head further down the street until reaching a barricade blocking the road. From there, head left in the gated area with German soldiers. Left of the gate is a two-story building with a ladder leading to the second floor. The letter can be found on a table down the hallway.	The Last Incident
3		Right before entering the AA gun site, a partially destroyed multi-level building can be found directly east of the site. The letter is located at the top of this building beside a corpse.	So Many of Our Friends
4		From the last letter, go down to the street just before the AA guns and head right. Travel all the way down the street and turn left at the road intersection. From there keep going down the road until reaching an alleyway on the right. The letter is located inside the apartment to the left of the alleyway on some crates on the first floor. 5		After destroying the AA guns and reentering the tank, Peter will disambark the tank once more to destroy sensitive documents. From the tank, head northeast down the street and turn right though hedgehogs. Travel down the street and take a right into the alleyway. To the right of the alleyway entrance is an opening in the ground to an exposed basement. The letter is located on a table in the back of the basement.	Distant Enemy Activity
6		From the tank, turn left and go though the destroyed buildings before turning left again into a courtyard. The letter is found directly left of the courtyard entrance on a crate.	The Metal In My Leg
