Letters are collectibles featured in the singleplayer War Stories of Battlefield V. The game is saved automatically once a letter is picked up and the chapter does not need to be completed in order for progress to be saved. Upon finding all letters in a war story, a unique melee weapon is unlocked for use in multiplayer.

Following the section with binoculars and the clearing of a small camp, head southeast down the road until there are two soldiers. South from here is a small path that leads to a river. The letter is located in tall bushes nearby.

Following the start of the chapter, head west towards one objective. Upon arriving, the letter is located in the upper section of the village towards the eastern road exit.

Head west from the village with the radar dish to a bridge. Cross it and when the path splits, go right. The letter is located on the right side of the path by a rock pile.

Head north from the COMM bunker and follow the road that leads northeast. Take a right when passing a rock pile and walk through bushes. The letter is located at the base of one of the various trees.

Head north/northeast from the COMM bunker through water. The letter is found on a small island oasis to the right of the car.

Located in sand and rocks behind a tower at the end of the runway on the left at the airfield.
At the start of the level after the skiing section, there will be two soldiers near a bright light. The letter is located near them among the bodies

Before the second smaller bridge, there is a trail of snow on the left. Follow it to two houses guarded by soldiers. The letter is located in the house on the right.

Upon reaching the giant wall surrounding the base, head right to find a sewer. Enter and kill and the guard stationed at the exit. The letter is located at the guards feet.

To the left of the door that opens to the resistance fighter is a small office with a typewriter. The letter is located on the desk in the office.

At the start of the level head to the first snowy island on ice. The letter is located on logs next to a hatchet

From the first letter, continue along the ice. When the path heads right towards the power station, head left instead to the left slope. The letter is located towards the top of the slope by a fire.

Located by the power station inside a small wooden hut. Walking along the fence until the hut is found.

Following the power station and heading down the slope, the player is expected to head west past the final fire towards the end of the level. Instead go to the fire and turn to face south/southeast. Walk towards the trees and look towards the right side to spot a body in the snow. The letter is located on the body.

A few hundred feet from the start of the level, ski down the hill to the first building. It is located under the building beside some ammo boxes.

At the second objective by the docks is a giant crane. The letter is located on top of the crane behind the top of the ladder.

From the last letter, look at the lake to see a boat frozen in the ice. The letter is located on the side of the boat.

From the last letter, head towards the next village. The letter is located under the bridge before the village.

At the small village, enter the white house across the road from the objective. The letter is found in the attic of the house.

Located in the bunker at the end of the level, it can be found in the first room on the right after entering.
Secure the area at checkpoint kilo. The letter is located in a bunker to the west of the flag.

Head down the hill to the next area until there are stone barricades in the distance. The letter is located before cross the creek to the left by a tank.

Go past the stone barricades and turn right. Go straight until crossing a street to a destroyed truck. The letter is located to the right of the truck on top of some containers.

Towards the leftmost bunker where the player is tasked to destroy the objective. The letter is located in between the middle and leftmost objectives on creates before a large bunker.

After securing the large bunker, go to the back of it and head northwest towards trucks. The letter is located on the left side next to explosive barrels.

From the last letter, head towards the white building with an explosive barrel inside. The letter is located on the left side of the building next to a machine gun.

Before entering the area with the hanging parachutist, a path can be found on the left side. This will lead to a weapon stash. The letter is located past the stash further down the path on a container.

Head to a small hill to the west of the destroyed plane. The letter is located on a corpse.

Following a cutscene from entering the next area, turn around and head west down a path. The letter is located at the end of this path on a container.

Once the third artillery gun is destroyed, head northeast where a large satellite is located. The letter is located to the right of the satellite in a small area with a large number of boxes.

From the last letter, head southeast towards the rock wall on the outside edge. The letter is located on crates beside a truck.

After capturing objective Alpha, head towards the next objective and turn left once getting to orange leaves. The letter is located in a small white building nearby.

From the last letter, head northeast to a small village. The letter is located in the first house on the left of the village.
