LynxSC IRL

Scout car in real life.

The Lynx scout car was a Canadian reconnaissance 4WD vehicle designed by Ford Canada. It entered service with Commonwealth forces in 1943. The Lynx was closely related to the British Daimler Dingo, which used a similar hull, though with a different chassis.

Battlefield 1942[]

In Battlefield 1942, the Lynx is a light vehicle issued to the Canadian Army, and appears exclusively on Liberation of Caen. It is a fast and lightly-armored vehicle with space for two players, and is intended for quick transport.

The Lynx has notably more protection for the players inside it than its counterparts, as it has a hull piece that protects most of their bodies.

It is the counterpart to the Allied Willys MB, and the Axis Kubelwagen.
