Overview BF2 BF3 BF4
Battlefield Hardline BF6

The M4 is a semi-automatic shotgun for the Enforcer introduced in the Battlefield Hardline: Betrayal expansion.

The M4 excels in close-range combat; however, it can be suited for mid-range combat with a Full Choke or 12G Slugs. The M4 functions as an in-between of the SPAS-12 and Saiga 12, having the same ammo capacity as the SPAS-12 but with a firerate and recoil similar to the Saiga 12. It loads individual shells instead of a magazine. This has advantages, such as the ability to shoot while reloading, and disadvantages, such as the fact that the full reload is longer.

Trivia[]

  • The M4 in Hardline reuses the model and regular reload animation of the M1014 from Battlefield 4, using a new empty reload where the breach is loaded by reaching under the weapon.
