M151 MUTT

An M151 firing a BGM-71 TOW.

The M151 MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck), is an American light utility vehicle designed by Ford Motor Company within the 1950s, and was the successor to the M38A1 in the American armed forces. Put into production in 1959, the M151 served in the Vietnam War with the United States and the South Vietnamese armed forces, and was also sold to many NATO countries. It used a 71 horsepower engine and incorporated independent suspension, which gave it all-terrain capabilities. Some variants of the M151 include ones carrying recoilless rifles, TOW missiles, and machine guns.

Battlefield Vietnam

In Battlefield Vietnam, the M.U.T.T. is the standard light vehicle for America and the ARVN.

It features light armor, high speed and high maneuverability. It has space for three players: one driver, one gunner, who mans a BGM-71 TOW armed with six TOW heat-seeking missiles, and one passenger, who can use his weapons and equipment. Another variant, which was introduced in the V1.1 patch, is the unarmed MUTT, which has space for three people, a driver, and two weapon- or equipment-wielding passengers.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam

"US Army utility vehicle. Provides infantry with rapid transportation and 360 degree, .30 caliber firepower."

— In-game description

In Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam, the M151A1 is the US Army's standard light vehicle. It features light armor, medium speed and medium maneuverability. It has space for three players: one driver, one gunner who mans an M1919 and a passenger.

Unlike the M151's base game counterpart, the HMMWV, it only holds 3 passengers, removing the seat for the passenger facing backwards. However, the player in the actual passenger seat of the vehicle can use their class weapons.
