The M151 MUTT (Military Utility Tactical Truck), is an American light utility vehicle designed by Ford Motor Company within the 1950s, and was the successor to the M38A1 in the American armed forces. Put into production in 1959, the M151 served in the Vietnam War with the United States and the South Vietnamese armed forces, and was also sold to many NATO countries. It used a 71-horsepower engine and incorporated independent suspension, which gave it all-terrain capabilities. Some variants of the M151 include ones carrying recoilless rifles, TOW missiles, and machine guns.
