In Battlefield Heroes, there are four submachine guns that are based on the M16, being the M16, Tier 1 Elite M16, Scoped SOF M16 and M16-203 Battle Rifle.
M16[]

The M16 is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Battlefield Heroes Gets Bad Company update. It is available to the Soldier class of the Royal Army. It is the counterpart of the National Army AK74. A stolen variant of the M16 is also available to the National Army. The M16 is statistically identical to the Tommy's Super Typewriter.
Golden M16[]

The Golden M16 is a golden weapon variant featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Football Fiesta 2010 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the Royal Army. It is the counterpart of the National Army Golden AK74. To obtain the Golden M16, a player must have purchased a jersey of the championship football team (Spain) from a promotional event during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. A stolen variant of the Golden M16 is also available to the National Army, released with the Football Fiesta 2014 update. The Golden M16 is statistically identical to the Golden Super Typewriter.

It is the counterpart of the National Army Specialist's Tier 1 AK-74. Despite being equipped with a scope, it is unusable. The Tier 1 Elite M16 is statistically identical to the Greg's Super Greasy Gun.
Scoped SOF M16[]

The Scoped SOF M16 is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with thhe Christmas 2010 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the Royal Army. It is the counterpart of the National Army Scoped SOF AK74. Despite being equipped with a scope, it is unusable. The Scoped SOF M16 is statistically identical to the Charlie's Super Chopper.
M16-203 Battle Rifle[]

The M16-203 Battle Rifle is a weapon featured in Battlefield Heroes, released with the Christmas 2011 update. It is available to the Soldier class of the Royal Army. It is the counterpart of the National Army AK74-30 Battle Rifle. The M16-203 Battle Rifle differs from the standard M16 with a burst fire mode and an underslung M203 grenade launcher.
