Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome
In the Battlefield expansion pack, The Road to Rome, the M3 is slightly upgraded:
- cannon on top with the power of Sherman shell
- machinegun on the back to provide protection for the cannon user/driver
- driver has the ability to use the cannon and look in different directions unlike in the basic M3
- capacity reduced to 3 persons
Trivia
- The M3 Half-track was one of the least used vehicles in Battlefield 1942 because of instability. When driving over even the smallest bumps made your M3 fall to the side or even turn 360°.
