The SIG Sauer P320 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol produced by SIG Sauer. It is a highly modular handgun available in a certain number of calibers and frame sizes. The M17 and M18 variants are the standard issue sidearms of the United States Armed Forces since 2017.

The P320 appears in Battlefield 2042 using a Flux Defense MP17 PDW conversion chassis and is named the MP28. In 2042's continuity, the base P320 is named the M28.

Trivia

• Similar to the DXR-1, the player character will use the reserve magazine present on the weapon during the first reload.
• The grip that holds the second magazine will insert another magazine when it's put away.
• Carbon Series weapon skin was originally called Carbon Hosedown. This was changed in Update 1 (Season 1).
