The MR-444 in real life.

The MR-444 is a Russian-made pistol designed by the Izhevsk Mechanical plant in 1995. It is compatible with .380 ACP, 9x18mm Makarov and 9x19mm Parabellum cartridges. It uses 10 or 15 round box magazines and has an effective range of 25 meters.

Battlefield 2

In Battlefield 2, the MR-444 is the standard sidearm of the Middle Eastern Coalition, and comes both with and without a suppressor (the former available only to the Special Forces and sniper kits.) It can kill in about five rounds, has a 15-round magazine, a low firecap, and decent accuracy at close to medium range.

Trivia

  • In Battlefield 2 and Special Forces, the MR-444 is a direct equivalent to the PLA QSZ-92 and to the USMC 92FS.
  • The ironsights of this weapon are mis-aligned.
