The Israeli Military Industries (IMI) MTAR-21 or Micro Tavor, also designated as the X-95, is a stand alone military weapon used for close quarters combat. It is designated to use the 5.56x45 NATO round and the Indian 5.56x30 round. It is also compatible with the German 9x19mm round. The weapon is renowned around the world for its efficiency in close quarters combat and its ability to use a variety of munitions. It is currently operated as the Micro-Tavor in the IDF and the Zittara in the Indian Military.

The MTAR-21 is seen briefly in the killfeed of the player's HUD during the Close Quarters - Ziba Tower DLC Trailer. It is also used in the Donya Fortress Gameplay trailer.

The weapon is more suited to very close range engagements, with the highest rate of fire of all the carbines. It suffers from considerable recoil and low damage at range, limiting its capacity to perform at medium ranges. It is very effective as a hipfire weapon at closer ranges, killing in four shots to the average PDW's five shots, but unless burst fired, almost unusable at any other range.

To obtain the MTAR-21, players must complete the My Own Terminator assignment. The requirements for this assignment are:

Get a kill with an EOD Bot
100 kills with carbines

Tips for Getting an EOD Bot Kill

NOTE: To make maneuvering the EOD Bot easier make sure to press the zoom out button when driving it. (The button most people use to zoom out of their jet)

IN TEAM DEATHMATCH: Play on the map Noshahr Canals and sneek up behind the enemy spawn. If you spot an camper get behind him pullout your EOD Bot and kill him.
IN TEAM DEATHMATCH/SQUAD DEATHMATCH: Get into a safe, 'behind the battlefield' position and deploy your EOD Bot, then drive around the hotspots of the map you are playing on, each map is different. NOTE: You can also run over people with the EOD Bot and it will still count as a kill. Try to move behind the enemies front line and go for an easy target such as a Sniper or an Engineer also trying to get his kill with the EOD Bot.
IN RUSH/SQUAD RUSH: Obviously in Rush vehicles are allowed and therefore you have more reasons to use the Engineer class, like in TDM, try to get in a safe spot and deploy, but unlike in TDM, go for large vehicles or where they normally are seen. When a vehicle is damaged, someone will normally pop out in an attempt to run away or repair the damaged vehicle; giving you an easy kill! Move in and take them out! Another method involves leaving it by an objective, when defending. Make sure you find a safe spot, such as in your spawn, then, when an enemy comes to arm it, sneak up and kill him with it.
IN CONQUEST/CONQUEST ASSAULT: Conquest is normally the best game type for an EOD Bot kill because of the large amount of Snipers, deploy your EOD Bot, then move to a spot that is normally occupied by Snipers, but not out of the reach of an EOD Bot, wait for an enemy Sniper to come by then either run him over or blowtorch him.
IN CONQUEST DOMINATION: Place the EOD Bot next to one of your control points, then leave the area to find a good hiding spot. When someone trys to take the objective drive up to them and get your kill. Best places seem to be objective B for Operation 925, Scrapmetal, and Donya Fortress.
