The Medic class is featured in Battlefield 2042. In the main game, Angel, Falck and Irish take on the roles of medics within the Support class. In the Battlefield Portal, the Medic class is featured in the Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 collections. Within each collection, the class features updated character models and function in a similar manner to their original counterparts.
1942 Medic[]
The 1942 Medic is available within the Battlefield 1942 Collection. The class functions in a similar manner, able to supply Medkits to heal teammates. The trait for 1942 Medic is called "Surplus" and described as "deploy up to three Medkits at a time", to compensate for its lack of syringe defects.
For weapons, the Medic has access to submachine guns, especially Thompson, which provides them with the ability to participate in attacks at close range.
BC2 Medic[]
The BC2 Medic is available within the Bad Company 2 Collection. It features character models for the US Army (although refered as USMC when loading) and Russian Ground Forces. Similarly, BC2 Medics could use Medkits and Defibrillators to heal and revive teammates.
The trait for BC2 Medic is called "Medkit Improved Range" and described as "Medkit healing range is doubled". In actual games, this feature is manifested as the treatment radius of BC2 Portal's Medkit being 3 meters instead of the usual 2 meters.
For weapons, the Medic has access to light machine guns as well as several shared weapons. This makes their main task in combat medium-range suppression, but they can also participate in close-combat assault when necessary.
