The Medic kit is featured in many installments of the Battlefield Series. It
s main purpose is to heal and revive teammates on the battlefield. In Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4, the Medic abilities have been combined into the Assault kit.
Battlefield 1942[]

The Medic kit is featured in Battlefield 1942. They are denoted on the battlefield by a red cross over a white circle on their helmet. They are each issued a submachine gun and handgun, both of which vary by team, but all of them are fundamentally identical.

Battlefield 2[]

The Medic kit is featured in Battlefield 2. The Medic is equipped with three weapons -- an assault rifle, a faction-specific handgun, and a combat knife. While similar in armament to the Assault kit, the Medic is additionally equipped with two pieces of lifesaving gear -- the medic bag and a defibrillator, and lacks an underslung grenade launcher.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2[]

The Medic kit is featured in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It is a combination of the Medic and Support classes from Battlefield 2. While retaining the defibrillator and medkits, the Medic class carries light/medium machine guns.
Vietnam[]
In the Bad Company 2: Vietnam expansion, the Medic kit remains functionally the same to the base game. The Defibrillator is replaced with a Syringe, but this is a purely cosmetic change.

Battlefield 1[]

The Medic makes a reappearance in Battlefield 1 as a multiplayer class.
Medics are armed with a self-loading rifle—typically a semi-automatic rifle, but with some variants allowing pseudo-automatic fire by holding the Fire button, and others being true automatic rifles—a sidearm, a melee weapon, and a hand grenade.

Battlefield V[]

The Medic is one of four base classes featured in Battlefield V. Its two Combat Roles are "Field Medic" and "Combat Medic". During Open Beta, only one of Combat Roles was available - "Field Surgeon". The class is equipped exclusively with SMGs and has access to bolt action carbines.

Battlefield 2042[]
The Medic class is featured in Battlefield 2042. In the main game, Angel, Falck, and Irish equally take on the role of Medic within the Support class. In the Battlefield Portal, the Medic class is featured in the Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 collections.
1942 Medic[]
The 1942 Medic is available within the Battlefield 1942 Collection. It features character models for the US Army, Royal Army, and Wehrmacht. As with its original counterpart, the Medic is able to supply Medkits to heal teammates.
BC2 Medic[]
The BC2 Medic is available within the Bad Company 2 Collection. It features character models for the US Army and Russian Ground Forces.

Trivia[]
- Friendly medics do not appear in any single-player campaign. All healing (for the player) is achieved solely through regeneration. Important NPCs are generally invulnerable, but may still be targeted by enemies and appear to take hits, and may at times be scripted to die.
