The Mossberg 500 is a 12-gauge, 20-gauge or .410 bore pump-action shotgun designed by O.F Mossberg & Sons in 1960.
Battlefield Vietnam
In Battlefield Vietnam, the Mossberg 500 is uniquely issued to the US Army Assault kit on certain maps. It features a 6 round capacity. It has high power, a low rate of fire, low accuracy and a short range. Performance wise, it is the ultimate close quarters weapon in the game. Usually, it can effectively kill targets from 20 meters away with only 2 or 3 shots. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
In Battlefield 2: Modern Combat's multiplayer, the Mossberg 500 is the default shotgun issued to the MEC Engineer kit. It has an 8 round capacity, with 24 shells in reserve, and high power.
