The NVK-P125 is a weapon featured in Battlefield 2042, introduced in Escalation season. Player can unlock the weapon by reaching tier 28 in the Battle Pass and available by complete assignments including 20 kills with sidearms at 30 meters or more and 60 kills and assists with AC-42 or DXR-1 afterwards.
This weapon produced by Nordvik can be best compared to the MP28, the MP443 and to a minor extent, the G57. It deals a maximum of 28 damage and possesses the fastest semi-automatic fire rate in the game at 500 RPM. It also features a unique 2-rounds burst mode, a niche option that is better suited for finishing off injured enemies due to its longer than average burst delay.
It begins with a 14-round magazine that may be converted to Subsonic rounds. These will reduce its rate of fire to 450 RPM but lower the sound profile of the weapon and make it easier to use for stealth. If one wishes for more ammo, its 20-round Standard Issue / Extended does the job adequately.
The NVK-P125 possesses few other attachments—two muzzles, two underbarrels and five sights, including its default NVK-FSN Holo (shared only with the NVK-S22).
As a futuristic weapon with no real-world analogue, the NVK-P125 features an unusual bullpup design with an indeterminable action. Aside from the barrel housing and trigger, no other parts of the weapon visibly move when firing. The only other animated parts of the gun appear to be its charging handle and magazine. The sounds, cartridges, and right-side ejection suggest it fires in a traditional manner.
