"Insurgents have secretly occupied a decommissioned airport in Syria. After receiving their first shipment of supplies by cargo plane, they are in the process of bringing the airport back online. The British have sent in a SAS team in the dead of night to clear the Insurgent threat before the airstrip is fully operational. Taking advantage of their nighttime training, the SAS approach the Insurgent positions undetected."

Airport Terminal[]

A neutral control point south of the SAS base, in the center-east. It spawns an ATV and a Forklift for both factions.

Air Control Tower[]

The Insurgent main base in the far south. It hosts two artillery pieces, the UAV trailer and radar station, as well as an ATV, a Pickup Truck and a BMP 3. If it falls to the SAS, it will spawn an ATV, an AIL Raider, and a HMMWV with TOW.

The 64-player extends the 32-player version by moving the SAS base eastward.

The default number of tickets is 330 for the SAS and 300 for the Insurgents.

Airport Entrance[]

The SAS main base in the far northeast, hosting two artillery pieces, the UAV trailer and radar station, as well as three ATVs, an AIL Raider and a HMMWV with TOW.

Trivia[]

  • The map is often misspelled as "Night Fight" even in the Special Forces game manual.
  • The Special Forces manual description for the map mentions the MEC Special Forces instead of the Insurgent Forces as the SAS's opponent. As can be seen from three gameplay trailers for Special Forces[1][2][3], the MEC Special Forces were indeed planned for this map, and were only changed to Insurgent Forces on release.
  • Both of the above problems have been fixed in the Battlefield 2 Complete Collection manual.[4]
